Quarantine and social distancing have become a necessary part of our life due to the coronavirus outbreak. Everyone is currently looking for ways to pass the time while practicing social distancing.
While this is the time filled with uncertainty, it is essential to keep yourself happy and distracted while contributing to flattening the curve.
There are many things that people do to keep themselves busy like reading books, learning life skills, watching movies and series, cooking, and many more.
But most people are into Netflix but for me, it is more like Netflix and cheese. I love cheese and every day I cook something with cheese in it and enjoy itwhile binge-watching.
Binge-watching is a serious thing, and an avid watcher knows nothing is integral to a Netflix binge more than the snacks. When it comes to snacks, everyone has different preferences. For me, anything with cheese would work.
I have already stocked my pantry with the best liquid cheese in Australia for my Netflix binges. If you are a cheesemonger like me, I have the three best snack options that you can choose from for your next Netflix binge.
Nachos and Cheese
Nachos and cheese area must-have when it comes to movie nights. Netflix and nachos area classic combo in my house, they are easy to make, and you won’t have to spend too much time in the kitchen.
If you have ready-to-use cheese sauce and tortilla chips, then you won’t even have to try. If you don’t have these ingredientsat home, then you can make your own tortilla chips and enjoy them with any kind of cheese.
Veg Balls with Cheese Dips
Most of the people have stopped eating meat amid coronavirus, me being one of them. So, instead of meatballs, I went for veg balls. This is a simple recipe, and you don’t need too many specific ingredients. You can make a super yummy veg ball with any veggies that are available in your home.
All you have to do is boil some of the vegetables, mash them, add spices, and make balls. Roll them in egg wash and breadcrumbs and fry them, and you have a delicious snack.
Every Netflix binge needs a dip – a cheesy dip. Cheesy dips are hearty enough to keep you satisfied while you want your favourite series. Just use liquid cheese sauce, as the perfect dip for your veg balls.
Cheese Pizza
Pizza is the best thing to happen on earth, and I love pizza because it combines the crispy crust, savoury sauce, and ooey-gooey CHEESE. And also, pizza is really customisable, you can put anything you want on a pizza – pineapple or broccoli, your choice.
If you don’t want to cook dinner after your 10-hour binge, grab a slice of pizza, and you are done. You can order pizza, but I like making them at home as I have kids, and when I make it at home, I can hide some healthy vegetables under the cheese. And I can use gluten-free flour; basically, I like to make it as much as healthy as I can.
